You college basketball fan's out there that are other team's always argue that this is NOT the greatest rivalry in all of college basketball, well I am here to tell you that you are wrong, dead wrong! Here in North Carolina we wait for this day, talk about it off and on all year long. These games get television coverage on every national venue. There is no bigger rivalry. You can whine and complain all you like, please, spare me. dook and Carolina, have it all against y'all. The school's are a mere fifteen minutes distance apart on 15-501. Even if the bus did break down, the players would still make the game. Carolina fans smell the stench coming from Durham and vice-versa.
This is a love hate rivalry. For me, I love to banter with my dook fans, give them crap as much as I can, and well I expect the same from them. We have fun year round, razzing each other and reminiscing. But with most of our fans, there is a little something different that underlies this rivalry, it is the simple respect for the rivalry, yes some do take it too far...but for most of us, we take the rivalry in the spirit in which it is intended...
Now, for dook's take on the game...Psycho T is going to have some REVENGE for his nose getting busted...and the evil player he knows who he is, plays for the rat king's evil empire...better tread lightly Sunday!!!!!!!
